CBC Opening Day - 25th August 2012
Our 2012/13 season officially opened today and around 100 members attended. It was a very busy program with Councillors Amanda Stapledon and Geoff Ablett officially opening our new locker rooms and amenities, Peggy Dennis and family attending the dedication of our tift green to her late husband Allan and the unfurling of our ladies Division 2 Premiership Pennant.
After sampling a delicious lunch our bowlers played a quick game of bowls in the chilly afternoon conditions. The general consensus was that the tift green was rolling very well considering the heavy rain we had on the day before play.
